--This was a replay of a scoreless tie the previous week.  Head Coach Jack Kinsella reached a 17-game undefeated streak with this victory.  Attendance was estimated at 2500.

--(Ottawa Citizen, Nov 15th, 1943) "(Emile) Dagenais, the lad who passes, punts and runs with the ball for the Irish, knifed through the Glebe line time after time for great gains, crowned an afternoon of hard work with a touchdown, a field goal and a pair of converts of 10 points."

--(Ottawa Citizen, Nov 8th, 1941) "The big break of the game came on the first play of the second quarter when Glebe linemen swarmed through the St. Pat's defence and blocked a punt by Brian Quinn.  The ball bounced back over the goal line and Jimmy Conyers, Glebe middle wing, fell on it for the only major score of the game.  Armando "Ponce" de Leon, Glebe's kicking and running star, added a pair of singles in the third quarter to conclude the scoring."

--(Montreal Gazette, Nov 12th, 1938) "(Stan) Malette's throwing arm brought about a Glebe touch shortly before the half time whistle as (Don) Graham took a pass on the run to cross the Irish line standing up...Glebe led 08-06.  In the thid quarter, Jack Hare grabbed up a fumble...and galloped 25 yards for another Glebe touchdown."

--(Ottawa Citizen, Nov. 13th, 1937) "Bill Winebruk intercepts short forward pass and gallops 35 yards for touchdown as Technical wins first senior title by blanking Celts 07-00."

--(Ottawa Citizen, Nov 10th, 1936) "(An 18-06 victory over Nepean) was the final league game of the local students 1936 gridiron schedule, a postponed fixture from late last month, and the triumph qualified the Irish youngsters to carry Ottawa's standard into the hunt for the Eastern Ontario Secondary Schools' Association title."
