This Just In

July 28th: The Fulcrum has an article about Gee-Gees receiver Cyril Adjeity's experience at the CFL's Evaluation Camp.

July 27th
: The OVFL has posted its playoff tree and both local teams have home games!  Full details to be posted soon.

July 25th
: The Ottawa Invaders closed out their regular season with a 13-10 road win against the Toronto Raiders last night.  They will take a 3-4-1 record into the playoffs, which start on August 14th.

July 24th
: I am hearing that the Cumberland Panthers lost in the dying seconds to the Toronto Thunder at Millenium Field earlier today.  That makes the Thunder division champs and spoils Cumberland's undefeated season.

July 24th
:  Just so you know, going forward, whatever new name the pro team adopts will not be used in any portion of this site.

July 24th
: The Myers Riders Varsity team closed the regular season with their fifth consecutive victory by defeating Cornwall 42-14.  Playoff match-up TBD.

July 21st
: The more time passes, the less likely it appears that the new CFL Franchise will be named Rough Riders.

July 21st
: The Ottawa Sooners announce their 2010 roster and cheer team.

July 20th
: DB David Nsabua (Cumberland) and KR Mitchell Spence (Myers) have been named to the 2010 Football Canada Cup All Star Team.

July 19th
: According to All Canada Gridiron, Myers Riders defeated Brampton 34-08 last night on the road.  The Riders are still in the running for a home playoff game.

July 18th
: Team Outaouais has been painfully close to a breakthrough in the Wilson Challenge.  They lost to Richelieu earlier today to finish the tournament 0-3.

July 18th
: The varsity Cumberland Panthers showed little rust from their 3-week break in defeating the Newmarket Storm 37-00 yesterday.  Next:  The Toronto Thunder with the divisional championship on the line!
