This Just In Mar 6th: The North Gloucester Giants are holding a registration meeting on April 5th, which includes the NCAFA Midget Ottawa Colts. Mar 6th: The Cumberland Panthers have scheduled two registration sessions for their junior (QJFL) team.  Those have been added to the Around Town page. Mar 6th: I don't believe the confirmation was ever posted, but Jeff Veinotte's signing with the Buffalo Bulls was made official here.  He'll be added to the Ottawa Region amateurs list when he appears on their 2010 roster. Feb 25th: Former Gee-Gees receiver Adam Nicolson has been traded from Saskatchewan to Hamilton. Feb 24th: The Ontario Football Alliance has released the results of their evaluation testing from the past couple of months.  A few Ottawa area players have done quite well for themselves. Feb 22nd: Canada Football Chat certainly hit the ground running and now they've added a number of Gee-Gees recruits to their list of CIS commitments.  I have copied the list onto the blog and am looking to gather info about each one. Feb 18th: Canada Football Chat is doing a great job of listing CIS commitments, now including Gatineau DB Philip N'Djore-Acka Feb 11th: 2009 Jr Riders Head Coach Luigi Costanzo will be at the helm of the U18 Team Ontario East squad this July at the Canada Cup.  Jean-Philippe Asselin from the Gee-Gees coaching stafff will serve as offensive coordinator. On The Clock May 8th: CIS East West Bowl A showcase for the best players in Canadian Interuniversity Sport football, the focus of the eighth annual East-West Bowl will be on student-athletes eligible for the 2011 Canadian Football League Draft. May 21st - 23rd: Gridiron Academy Gridiron Academy Football Camp is a full contact elite 3 day football training camp for youth aged 7-18.
